Swirling seas

Trying to hold on to rocks
Waves one after another
They break, undertow pulling
Flooding me with deep worries

I can sense danger clearly
Behind me, surrounding me
The fear of ending up there
In the swirling sad weeping

Sinking into the water
My eyes, fingers still touching
The rocks but losing my grip
Feeling colder and colder

Slick stones my only support
I find myself between sea
And land, release the burden
Let go – I go with the flow
